Atlético de Madrid play Viking FK at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano on Wednesday 25 November 2026, matchday 5 of the Champions League league phase. Kick-off is 21:00 in Madrid and in Stavanger, 20:00 in the UK. If you want a seat in a home section, buy it from Atlético. The club's sale still has seats in all four stands, starting at €50. P1 Travel lists standard home-section tickets from €49, and further down I explain the two cases where I would pay an agency instead. Booking through the agency links in this article may earn Cholismo Lab a small commission, at no extra cost to you. Viking supporters are in a different position, because only a ticket sold through Viking gets you into the away end.
Information checked on 15 October 2026. Seat counts and prices are from Atlético's sales screen and P1 Travel's page for this match that day.
The club still has seats in all four stands, and three of them start at €50
Atlético opened this match to members on 7 September and to the general public on 9 September. Five weeks later the price panel on the club's sales screen showed seats in every stand. Lateral Oeste, the main stand on the west side, started at €50 in its top tier, and the panel showed 793 tickets available. Fondo Norte and Fondo Sur, behind the goals, started at €50 with 354 and 292, and Lateral Este, the long side opposite, at €60 with 603. I would not read those as the number of seats left in each stand. For the Manchester United match, twelve days into its general sale, the same screen had six seats left that a non-member could buy, and the cheapest of them was €95.
In Fondo Norte the €50 seats include lower-tier blocks 111 to 116. In Fondo Sur they are in the upper tier. The lower tier is for members only, and the screen a guest sees marked it sold out.
The seat map opens to a guest, without an Atlético account. VIP seats are sold separately through Neptuno-Atlético de Madrid Premium. If you have limited mobility or use a wheelchair, the match page asks you to email [email protected] in advance. Two lines in the club's regulations matter before you pay: you may be asked for a passport or national ID card, and being unable to go for your own reasons does not get you a refund. What each of the four sides is like to sit in is covered in the Metropolitano seating guide.
P1 Travel has Viking at €49, the cheapest Champions League home match on its list
P1 Travel lists standard seats in the home sections for this match from €49 a person, against a struck-through €69. The same listing was €79 on 8 and 14 September. P1 has Bayern on 3 November from €179 and Fenerbahçe on 27 January from €125, and the Manchester United match was €155 in mid-September. Of the three still on P1's list, Viking is the cheapest by a long way. The club's Agencias page lists P1 under its "Agencia Autorizada" seal.
The €49 tells you less about where you will sit than the club's €50 does. P1's FAQ says you choose the ticket category, and the row and seat are assigned closer to the event. The tickets arrive between one and three days before the match. P1's terms describe it as "a reseller of Tickets" and rule out returns in most cases. If force majeure cancels or postpones the match, you can end the booking and claim a refund, or take a voucher if P1 offers one. The page says "No away fans allowed" under the fixture title, and every ticket on it lists "No Away Fans".
With the club selling from €50, I would pay P1 in two cases only. One is if the area you want has gone from the club's map by the time you book. Even then, I would check P1's ticket category and where it sits on the seating map before paying. The other is if you want a hotel in the same booking. P1 sells hotels as an optional extra, priced on top of the ticket, and the match page showed them from €95 a person.
Viking fans can only reach the away end with a ticket sold through Viking
Viking were given 3,500 seats in Madrid and had sold more than 3,000 by about 20:00 on 11 October, the day their sale opened, RA Stavanger reported. The presale started at 16:00 that day for holders of Viking+ or a Europa Pass, the package of Viking's five European home matches, with personal promo codes emailed the day before. Any tickets left over were to go on sale at 19:00. A ticket costs NOK 572 with no booking fee, and the sales page says it can only be bought with a promo code from that email. What TicketCo gives you is a purchase confirmation; the match ticket follows by email later, and tickets are not refunded. Viking's shop still shows the match with a "Kjøp nå" button, which does not tell you whether any are left, so ask Viking before you plan a trip around one.
Atlético's regulations hand the away section to the visiting club. They say its tickets are sold "exclusivamente" through Viking's channels, in the buyer's name with an ID number, and that nobody but the named holder gets in. If someone else is found in the seat during the match, the rules say they are removed at once. The Metropolitano's ticket offices do not sell away-section tickets, so you cannot buy one on the night.
A home-section ticket is no way round this. P1's page rules out away fans, and Article 7 f) of the club's rules prohibits visiting-supporter behaviour in a home zone where it puts safety or public order at risk, which is also grounds for removal. Where the away section sits, the route visiting fans have been sent on, and what earlier away guides said about gate times and bags are in the Metropolitano away fans guide.
I will update the seat counts and Viking's travel details before the match
The counts in the first section will move, and I will check them again closer to 25 November. Viking have not posted supporter information for the Madrid trip yet. In the week of a big match Atlético may also publish a "Mapa y horarios del estadio" notice with gate times. The Champions League home match before this one is Bayern on 3 November, and the Atlético vs Bayern ticket article covers it.
