Valencia plan to open the Nou Mestalla in summer 2027 and call 2027/28 the first season there, but there is no opening date yet. Season-ticket seats go first to the club's existing members, who choose them in person or by video call from 17 November in order of membership number. New memberships have been paused, and the club has not said whether they will reopen. If you are not a member, the only way to secure a seat now is a Hospitality package. The club's pages mention single-match ticket sales, but give no date or price.
This season is still played at the old Mestalla, and that includes Atlético's visit in May 2027. For that ground, see my Mestalla seating guide.
Information checked on 13 October 2026.
Read a Nou Mestalla block by its first digit and its compass point
At the new ground the club names each side by the compass. The west side is the long side on Avenida de les Corts Valencianes. The east side faces the Benicalap neighbourhood, and the club says the bat is drawn inside that stand. The north end faces the Palau de Congressos and the south end looks towards Nuevo Centro.
The first digit of a block number tells you the tier. The Grada Baja, the lower tier, runs from 100 to 141, and the Grada Media, the middle tier, from 200 to 258. Above the middle tier sits a separate level of just three rows for Hospitality. The third ring is split in two: the Grada Alta, the upper tier, is its lower half, with blocks 300 to 352, and the Grada Superior, the top tier, is its upper half, with 400 to 452. So block 214 is in the middle tier and block 430 is near the top of the stadium.
The Grada de Animación, the singing section, takes blocks 116 to 119 in the lower tier at the north end. Current members who want to stay there are moved across automatically; for now nobody else can choose it.
Valencia say a roof will cover all 70,044 seats and keep direct sun off every one of them. The club's guide to the new stadium has the full plan.
Season tickets run from €300 at the top of the ends to €1,700 low down near halfway
The published prices are for a season ticket, an abono, not for a single match. By tier, a standard season ticket costs €750 to €1,700 in the Grada Baja, €600 to €1,100 in the Grada Media, €400 to €650 in the Grada Alta and €300 to €450 in the Grada Superior.
Within each tier the price falls from halfway towards the goals. The €1,700 blocks are 103, 107, 124 and 128, low on the long sides, and the €300 blocks are 414 to 420 and 446 to 448, at the top of the ends. The club's prices page lists every block, and the 2025/26 discounts come off these prices.
The middle of each long side is missing from the list: 104 to 106 and 125 to 127 in the lower tier, 203 to 212 and 233 to 241 in the middle tier. The club calls its Hospitality seats central and puts its Bronce Club package in the middle of the east side, so I read those gaps as likely Hospitality, though the plan does not label them. Other areas will not be sold as season tickets at all, among them the away section and seats tied to UEFA rules and sponsor agreements.
The club's 3D map shows the view from the centre of each sector, not from the end of a row, the front or the back.
Existing members pick their seats in membership-number order from 17 November
The move happens in three phases. From 10:00 on 14 October to noon on 30 October, members form groups online. From 17 November to the end of May 2027 they choose their seats in person in the 1923 room at the old Mestalla (gate A4, Avenida de Aragón), or by video call, without paying anything. Payment comes in June and July 2027.
The order goes by membership number, lowest first. A group takes the average of its members' numbers, leaving out under-16s, with exceptions for members since July 1976 and for the old waiting list from 2007. Groups cannot be formed after noon on 30 October, and at the appointment the group's captain picks adjacent seats for everyone. A season-ticket holder who does nothing still gets an individual appointment, but the club's phase one page says a Socio VCF without a season ticket has to form a group, even a group of one, to be sent an appointment at all.
Members see which zones are left only at their appointment, and the club will email the exact date of each appointment a month ahead. Everyone who goes in, whatever their age, needs their own season ticket or a ticket for an assigned seat.
New Socio VCF memberships were closed ahead of the planned deadline of 13 October, which the club put down to heavy demand. After phase one, it says, membership may reopen with a waiting list, if the club decides so. Being a Socio VCF, at €50 a season, does not on its own bring a season ticket.
Without a membership, Hospitality is the only way to secure a seat now
Buying a Hospitality product gets you in before the season-ticket reservation period. The most exclusive ones, the Mediterranean Suites, Suites and Loges, have sold out. Bronce Club, the newest, starts at €2,150 plus VAT per season, in the middle of the east side, and the club takes requests through its Hospitality page.
The club keeps some upper-tier wheelchair spaces for match-by-match ticket sales, among other uses, but has not said when those sales start, how they work, what they cost or how many tickets there will be. ElDesmarque, a Spanish sports site, worked out that six or seven thousand could be on sale per match once season tickets, Hospitality and the club's commercial commitments are taken out.
Valencia have not announced a public sale date for Nou Mestalla matches. Until they do, I would not pay anyone for a ticket described as a Nou Mestalla match ticket.
On the club's plan, the away section is the south-east corner of the upper rings
For LaLiga and Copa del Rey matches the away section is fixed at 853 seats in blocks 338 to 340 and 438 to 440, which on the club's plan sit in the corner between the south end and the east side, in the upper and top tiers. For UEFA matches a movable barrier extends it to 3,495 seats along the south end, adding 341 to 345 and 441 to 445. Away fans have their own entrance, toilets and food, separated from the home seats by glass barriers.
When Atlético first play there depends on the 2027/28 LaLiga fixture list, which is not out yet. Their 2026/27 visit, matchday 35, is listed for 9 May 2027 at the old Mestalla, though the day and kick-off can still move. How members apply for away tickets is in my away ticket guide.
