All four areas read sold out, and the club has not fixed the day
Atlético de Madrid host Barcelona in LaLiga matchday 12 at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano. Barcelona's calendar and LaLiga's both place the fixture on Sunday 8 November, with the kick-off time still to be announced. Atlético's own pages are more cautious. The ticket page carries 08/11/2026 in its title, but the heading above it reads "JORNADA 12 - SÁBADO 7 O DOMINGO 8 DE NOVIEMBRE (SIN CONFIRMAR)", Saturday the 7th or Sunday the 8th, unconfirmed, and the club's full calendar says the same. The club sold this match to members from Monday 24 August and to the general public from Wednesday 26 August at 10:00.
When I opened the sales screen on 17 September, at 15:25 in Madrid, the four areas came up one after another as "Entradas agotadas". Lateral Oeste, Fondo Norte, Lateral Este, Fondo Sur, sold out, with only the separate VIP panel sitting above them. There were no blocks left to open. That is 22 days after general sale. Getting in took a Queue-it wait of about a minute, and the sales header gave the date as "Por confirmar".
The club's fixture list still showed COMPRAR ENTRADAS on the row, next to a VIP button. The button is not a stock count. The derby read the same way on 8 September with every area gone, and the Manchester United match did it again on the 15th, so open the area panel before you plan a trip around what the list says.
Sold out on 17 September is a reading of one moment, and this map can refill. Season-ticket holders can hand back a seat nobody is using "hasta 2 horas antes del inicio de cada partido", until two hours before kick-off. The club's own FAQ tells them a seat given up several days out has a better chance of selling, so a released seat goes back on sale. The club does not publish how many come back or when, so nothing here promises you one. The club is still the first place to look. When it has nothing, I would use P1 Travel first and Hellotickets second, for reasons I set out below. Booking through the agency links in this article may earn Cholismo Lab a small commission, at no extra cost to you.
The club's published standard prices for this match
The ticket page for this match carries a stand-by-stand price map, two figures for each band, PÚBLICO GENERAL above and SOCIOS DEL CLUB below. I have not been able to read LaLiga prices off a big-match page before, so here are four reference points from it, all inside the standard non-VIP bands. The upper tiers behind the goals, Fondo Norte and Fondo Sur, were €95 for the public and €75 for a member. The upper middle of Lateral Este was €160 and €130. The front rows of Lateral Oeste, the main stand, were €420 and €340.
One band on the map has a single figure and no general price beside it. The lower tier of Fondo Sur is marked ZONA EXCLUSIVA SOCIOS at €60. The club's FAQ shuts it to everyone else: "Únicamente los socios del club (excepto Benjamines) pueden adquirir entradas en el Fondo Sur Grada Baja." So the cheapest figure printed on the map is closed to you unless you are a club member; the ticket is named and ID is required at the turnstile.
These are the club's published standard prices on the map for this match. Keep them in mind when you read what an agency asks now. Bayern come to the Metropolitano on 3 November, four or five days before this league fixture depending on where LaLiga finally places it, and their map is lower in several of the reference prices I compared. The gap is not uniform. The Fondo upper-tier public price differs by €20, the members-only zone by €10.
Members get first refusal twice. The FAQ gives them 48 hours before every general sale, in any competition, and then "una vez confirmado el horario de cada partido, los socios cuentan con un segundo periodo exclusivo de otras 48 horas", another exclusive 48 hours once the kick-off time is confirmed. General sale here opened on 26 August and the time is still not out, so that second window has not run yet. Whether the club treats it as a fresh release of stock for a sold-out match, I cannot tell you. The page also asks supporters with reduced mobility or using a wheelchair to email [email protected] in advance for this match.
Two authorised agencies, in the order I would use them
P1 Travel goes first. It is one of four companies carrying the club's "Agencia Autorizada" seal, listed on the club's own Agencias page alongside VB Global Group, AJ Tickets and Hellotickets. It guarantees standard seats up to three together. On 17 September its cheapest listing for this match was €299 a person, with a hotel in the same booking from €84 a person. It was still €299 on 27 September, with the hotel from €90 a person. That price is moving the opposite way to the Champions League tie against Manchester United. Barcelona was €275 on 8 and 14 September before rising to €299 on the 17th. Over a partly overlapping period United fell from €199 on 2 September to €175 on the 8th and €155 on the 14th, where it stayed on the 15th. Hospitality is separate and steep. The Longside experience in block 210 was €599 a person on 17 September and €649 on 27 September, and behind the dugout in block 104 it was €849 on both days.
Read the product page before the payment screen. P1 says the tickets come "directly from the organizer" and that you "Get your tickets between 1 and 3 days before the event", which is late if you want a seat number before you fly. Its terms call P1 "a reseller of Tickets" and say tickets and services cannot be returned unless the buyer has a right of withdrawal. If force majeure cancels or postpones the match you can end the agreement and claim your money back, and P1 may offer a voucher of the same value instead. This is a home-end product, and the page says so under the fixture title: "Organizer regulations: No away fans allowed". What the page does not give you is the number of tickets P1 has access to or which pool of seats each listing is drawn from, and nothing on it explains how P1 has seats when the club's own map shows four areas gone.
Hellotickets is second, holding the same Agencia Autorizada seal. Its listing screen for this match on 17 September opened at $303 and ran to $2,605 and above, the cheapest being Section 416. Above that came Category 4 and Category 3 at $306, then Category 2 and more Category 3 and 4 at $327. The labels are mixed: some listings name a block, others give you a category and nothing else, so read the section label and the ticket conditions before you look at the price. The seal covers the agency, not the individual listing, and the page does not show where any one seat came from. A waiting room cut in while I was reading the list, so expect the prices to shift while you work through them.
Three things I would leave alone. Private sales on social media and fan forums sit outside anything the club endorses. Any listing offering a seat in the Grada de Animación is selling an area the club treats as members' and season-ticket holders' territory. And the club's Agencias page is where I check whether an agency is authorised at all, rather than taking the word "official" off a ticket site.
If you are coming with Barcelona
The route in is Barcelona's own away-ticket process, and it comes with several eligibility rules. You need to have been a member for at least six months on the day of the match, a year for some fixtures the club picks, with your dues paid and no disciplinary sanction against you. Members under six cannot buy. Each member requests one ticket and up to four members can join a single request. If the requests beat the allocation, the club runs a draw. The tickets are named and non-transferable, and each member collects their own in person with ID. Once you have paid there are no changes, returns or cancellations, and anyone under 16 needs an adult over 18 with them. As of 17 September the club had not opened a window for this match; the only one live was Galatasaray at €50 plus a compulsory €15 for the stadium coach.
Barcelona took 5,291 requests for the Champions League quarter-final second leg here in April, against 2,336 member tickets, with another 230 allocated to FCB Desplaçament, all priced at €50. The member demand was settled by a notary-supervised draw on 27 March. By 13 April the club put the travelling party at 3,049: 2,566 members and 483 peñistas, 188 of the latter from outside Spain. That was a European tie with UEFA's €50 cap on the visiting allocation. This is a league match, and I have found no report confirming whether Atlético are giving Barcelona an away allocation for it at all.
Do not count on the €30 ticket either. LaLiga's Grada Visitante agreement caps visiting tickets at that price, and in 2025-26 it covered 14 clubs, Atlético among them but not Barcelona, whose absence it shared with Real Madrid, Villarreal, Rayo Vallecano, Real Sociedad and Espanyol. The agreement runs on reciprocity. I have not found a 2026-27 participant list, so do not assume that scheme applies to this fixture.
Previous official guides for visiting clubs place the away sections high in the north stand, often using blocks 313 to 319 and 413 to 419 with entry through gates 23 and 24. The exact footprint for this Barcelona match is not yet known. On the way in, the guides from Liverpool, Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt all sent visiting fans towards Canillejas on Line 5. Leverkusen and Frankfurt also told their supporters to stay off Line 7. Frankfurt described it as the route intended for home fans. Tottenham's March 2026 guide went the other way and named Line 7 as a route to the ground, so follow the match-specific guidance from your own club rather than assuming Line 5. The metro runs from 06:00 to 01:30, which matters more for an evening kick-off than an afternoon one, and Liverpool's guide recommends it for the journey back as well.
P1's home-end product sets a stricter condition than the club rule quoted below, because its page bars away fans from the product altogether. The club's own rules for members and spectators do not ban an away shirt as such; article 7 f) prohibits "actuaciones de aficionado visitante en zona local, cuando suponga un riesgo para la seguridad y el orden público", visiting-supporter behaviour in a home zone where it creates a risk to safety and public order. Separately, when Tottenham had officially allocated Category 1 seats in home blocks 105 to 107 for the March 2026 tie, they told those ticket holders not to wear club colours there. If you do end up in a home area on a legitimate ticket, a shirt under a jacket costs you nothing.
Booking a trip before LaLiga names the day
LaLiga confirms kick-off times matchday by matchday, and the lead times this season have not been consistent. It published matchdays six and seven together on 30 August, 17 and 21 days before Atlético's own fixtures in those rounds. Matchday eight followed on 10 September, 30 days before the Alavés game, and matchday nine on 16 September, 31 days before Espanyol. Across three announcements and four fixtures the spread runs from 17 to 31 days. There is no published timetable for this match, so I would not build a trip around a particular announcement date. Until it comes, the club's own heading gives you Saturday the 7th or Sunday the 8th, while Barcelona's calendar and LaLiga's both show the Sunday. Sunday is the provisional date I would plan around, but do not book travel that rules out Saturday until LaLiga confirms the fixture.
The two ticket sites display different provisional times. P1 shows 15:00 on its page for this match and Hellotickets shows 17:00, while the club's sales screen says "Por confirmar", and neither time is confirmed by Atlético or LaLiga. If you are buying a flight now, buy it around the date and leave the evening loose, because a 21:00 Sunday kick-off and a 15:00 one need different trains home. Take a cancellable rate on the room for the same reason; our guide to where to stay in Madrid sets out which areas still work if the time lands at 21:00. Once the kick-off time is confirmed, members get a second exclusive 48-hour window, the next formal members-only sales window named in Atlético's FAQ.
Where the rest of it is written down
This page stops at the ticket. Which stand to choose is in the Metropolitano seating guide, what you can carry in is in the bag policy guide, how to reach the ground is in the transport guide, and the matchday guide covers the rest of the day in Madrid. Visiting supporters have the away-fans guide for the north end in detail. The sale process across every competition, members' windows and abono rules included, is in the main Atlético ticket guide, and the derby ticket article covers the other fixture here that sells out at this speed. Hellotickets keeps its own page for this match if P1 has nothing you want.
The first two sections carry a check date, and I will update them when the club's stock moves or a season-ticket seat comes back. LaLiga has named no date for confirming this fixture, and its recent lead times run from 17 to 31 days. If Barcelona receive an away allocation, an application window should appear on their away-ticket page; none is open for this match as of 17 September. The club also publishes match-specific "Mapa y horarios del estadio" notices for some home games, with gate times on them.
