For a Mallorca match at Son Moix during a holiday, I would buy from the club's own ticket site, which can be switched to English or German, and pick a seat under the roof in the West stand. The date is harder to pin down. On the club's fixture list every home match from 15 November onwards still has its day and kick-off time to be confirmed, and the home matches fixed so far this season fall on a Saturday, four Sundays and a Monday. If your flights are booked, keep the whole match weekend free, Friday to Monday.
Mallorca are in the second tier this season, LaLiga Hypermotion, playing in a ground rebuilt between 2022 and January 2024.
Information checked on 14 October 2026. Section names and season-ticket prices are from the club's 2026/27 season-ticket list, and P1 Travel prices from its listings that day.
The season-ticket list names each section by stand, position and roof
Son Moix has four stands: the West and the East along the touchlines, Fondo Norte behind the north goal and Fondo Sur behind the south goal. The rebuild took out the running track, put a new roof over the East stand and replaced every seat, and the club now gives the capacity as 25,736.
On the club's season-ticket list, each section name follows a fixed order: the stand, the part of it, then the roof. West Central (Covered) is the middle of the West stand, under the roof. East North (Uncovered) is the north end of the East stand, in the open. The two ends are not split. The north end is sold as North Goal General and the south end as South Goal Fan Stand. A single-match offer last season used the same names, such as East North (Covered), so I expect this season's match sale to follow them.
Both long sides have covered and uncovered sections, so neither roof reaches the whole stand. I could not find which row the roof line falls on.
The season-ticket prices show how the club ranks the sections. A new adult season ticket runs from €830 in West Central (Covered) down to €330 for North Goal General and €265 for the South Goal Fan Stand. The West costs a little more than the East, covered more than uncovered, the middle more than the ends, and both goal ends far less than any long side. Those are prices for the whole season, but I would expect single tickets to rank the same way.
For a first match I would take the West stand, under the roof
My pick is the covered middle of the West stand, West Central (Covered) on the season-ticket list. For a winter evening match East Central does the same job for slightly less at the new adult season-ticket price. North Goal General is the cheaper choice behind a goal that is not the home fan end.
The sun is why the West comes first. This part is my own calculation from the pitch's orientation. The pitch runs north-north-west to south-south-east, so the East stand faces west-south-west, towards the afternoon and evening sun, and the West stand has the sun behind it. Before the rebuild the East side was the Grada Sol, the sun stand. At this season's 16:15 kick-off on 27 September the sun was about 36° up in the south-west, and at the 19:00 kick-off on 30 August it was about 15° up and due west. From the end of October to mid-February the sun has set by 18:30, so it plays no part in a kick-off at that time or later. From April it sets after 20:00, and an afternoon or early evening kick-off has the East stand looking into it.
Fondo Sur is L'Infern 1916, the home fan stand. Its rules are written for season-ticket holders, with an ID check at the gate, and they say: "Access to this stand wearing other team shirts or displaying a crest other than ours is prohibited."
For the opening-day visit, Real Valladolid put 295 away tickets on sale themselves, at €20 and in the buyer's name. I could not confirm where the away section sits since the rebuild. With Mallorca in the second tier, Atlético do not visit in the league this season.
Buy from the club's ticket site, which works in English and German
Mallorca sell through tickets.rcdmallorca.es, which you reach from the club's English ticket page. The club's own website has English but no German, while the ticket site offers German, English, Spanish and Catalan. The club advises against buying anywhere other than its official channels.
Each match goes on sale separately, and not far ahead. On 14 October the club was selling the 2 November match against Cádiz and the 15 November match against Córdoba, and nothing later. For Las Palmas on 11 October, the sale was announced on 5 October.
There were 20,686 season-ticket holders this season, according to Última Hora, in a ground of 25,736. That leaves at most about 5,000 seats for the away section and the general sale, and I found no report of an ordinary league match here selling out.
The club takes Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, JCB and 4B, with the extra bank check that EU rules require for online card payments, so keep your banking app or phone to hand. I could not confirm whether a single-match ticket carries the buyer's name.
Kick-off times are set late, so plan around the weekend
LaLiga sets the days and times, and a second-tier matchweek can run from Friday to Monday. This season's tenth round, for example, starts on Friday 16 October and ends on Monday 19 October. On the club's list every home match from 15 November onwards is marked as to be confirmed, with the time hidden, and every provisional date is a Sunday. Mallorca's home matches fixed so far ran from 16:15 to 21:30, one of them on a Monday, so I would read a listed Sunday as anything from Friday to Monday until LaLiga sets it. On 14 October the 2 November match had its day and time, 19 days ahead. The 15 November match, 32 days ahead, did not.
The club does sell matches before the time is fixed, and its purchase conditions cover a change. If the date or time moves, the ticket carries over to the new date, or you can ask for a refund if you cannot go, as long as you tell the club within ten days of the change appearing on its website. The same applies if you bought while the date or time was still to be confirmed. A ticket bought early from the club is not lost if the match moves, but on a short holiday you have to watch for the announcement.
If the club has not opened the sale for your match, you cannot wait for it, and an East stand seat is fine, you can book through an agency. P1 Travel, which calls itself an "Authorised Ticket Agent" for Mallorca, lists all 16 remaining home league matches, from €25 up to the end of February and €35 for Sporting, Granada and every match from March. For every one of them it sells a single category, a block at the north end of the East stand, so the West stand is not available through it. P1 says its tickets stay valid if the date changes, and the dates on its pages are placeholders too: it showed the Cádiz match as Sunday 1 November at 15:00, where the club has Monday at 21:00. See P1 Travel's Mallorca listings. Booking through the agency links in this article may earn Cholismo Lab a small commission, at no extra cost to you. The last paragraph of this page explains what you get from P1 and when.
Getting back to the coast after an evening match
Son Moix is about three kilometres from the centre of Palma. On recent match days EMT, the city bus company, has put on extra L8 and L33 buses, which leave from Camí dels Reis, beside the stadium, after the final whistle. When the club and EMT set up the match-day L33 in 2023, its route ran through Plaça d'Espanya, where the Estació Intermodal is the hub for the island's TIB buses to the resorts. Check the last TIB departure to your resort before the match. If it leaves before you can be back at Plaça d'Espanya, plan on a taxi.
Buying through P1. P1 assigns the row and seat in its East stand block closer to the match, and its match pages say the e-tickets arrive one to three days before kick-off, so if you fly out before then, you will travel with only the booking. Check the club's site for your match first, then browse Mallorca home tickets on P1 Travel.
